Welcome to Peter & Ernestine's family tree created in honor of the 67 years marriage of Peter J. Sibley, II & Ernestine Campbell. Our history begins with 8 sections of this family's tree, the ecosystem representing the 8 children and offspring from this union.
Laura's Garden...
Laura Bell Sibley Pinkney is the 1st child of Peter and Ernestine. Born December 23, 1935 in St. Mary’s, GA. Laura was named after her grandmother Laura Bell Drummond and her Grandmother, "Lora Dawson". Many of the family referred to her as “La-Belle” and were inspired by her strong faith in God when she was involved in a huge chemical explosion at her job during 1972. Laura was seriously injured and lost a portion of her leg. Laura and her husband Ulysses Pinkney married in September 12, 1954 and had 10 children. Laura passed away December 12, 1991. And despite the challenges of providing for a large household during the 70’s Laura understood the value of love and guidance. Laura’s oldest child, Peter Pinkney, known more commonly as “Pete” is married to Karen and has no biological children and he currently lives in Jacksonville, FL. Cassandra Pinkney Mitchell, is Laura’s oldest daughter and 2nd child of 10. Cassandra, also affectionately called “San” married Dennis Mitchell. They have one daughter, Ulyssesia Mitchell who has two sons, Marley Mitchell and Mikel Mitchell are currently living in Jacksonville, FL. Sadly, Cassandra passed away at the age of 50 years old. Laura’s 3rd child, Rose Pinkney Harrision lives in Kingsland, GA and has 2 children: LaKisha Jones is Rose’s oldest child. LaKisha has 2 children, Christopher Johnson and Mayia Jones currently living in Kingsland, GA. Tony Pinkney is Rose’s 2nd child. Tony is currently living in Kingsland, GA as well. Vera “Pam” Pinkney is the 4th child of Laura. Pam has 3 children Candida Lee-Harris also known as “Candi” and her husband Bobby currently live in Jacksonville, FL. Candi has 4 kids, Danielle Varndadore, Deonie, Varndadore, Bobby Harris, Jr. Brandon Harris. Pam’s 2nd child Robert Carter has 2 children: Hezekiah Carter and Ariel Carter. Robert and his children reside in Jacksonville, FL. Pam’s 3rd child is Willie Strong, Jr.. Willie, Jr. has a son named Rahshado Strong. Willie and his son live in the Washington, DC area. Patrick is Laura’s 5th child. Patrick and his wife Seranda have 5 children. Patrick’s 1st child, LaToya Colson-Boone and husband Vincent have 2 kids Martinque Jamison and Victoria Boone. They are currently living in Delray Beach, FL . Michael Colson, is Patrick’s 2nd oldest. Michael has 5 children (2 sets of twins) 2 sons, Michael, Jr. and Matthew Colson. Michael twin daughters are Mya and Michaela Colson. Michael's youngest child is daughter, Malia, currently living with her mother in New York City. Michael and his older children are currently living in West Palm Beach, FL.. Patrick’s 3rd child, Patrick Pinkney, II known as “Rick” lives currently in Jacksonville, FL. Patrick’s 4th child Zsazel Pinkney currently lives in West Palm Beach, FL. With her 2 kids, son Jermey Wilborn and daughter, Myla Wilborn. Patrick’s 5th child is Zackery Pinkney who lives in West Palm Beach, FL as well. Daryl Pinkney is Laura’s 6th child. Daryl and his wife Deborah currently live in Statesville, NC and he has no biological children. Jackie is Laura’s 7th child. Jackie Pinkney-Roberts and her husband Alexander live in Kingsland, GA. Jackie has 3 kids. Jessica Jacobs-Williams and her husband Casey live in Summerville, SC. Jackie’s 2nd , daughter Tanisha Everett lives in Jacksonville, FL . Jackie’s 3rd child is Spencer Everett lives in Woodbine, GA and has no children. Celetia,Pinkney-Johnson is Laura’s 8th child. Celetia lives in LaFayette, LA. Celetia has 3 kids, Jamirus Pinkney, Raven Fusilier, and Shante Johnson. Shante Johnson has a son, King Zavier Nelson. Celetia and her daughters are living in LaFayette, LA Christie is the youngest daughter and 9th child of Laura. She is currently living in Atlanta, GA with her daughter Pastavia Pinkney and Pastavia’s son, Jamarious Pinkney. Cory is the youngest child of Laura. Cory's only child Cornelius Pinkney lived happily with him in Atlanta, GA until his untimely death.

Peter James Sibley, Jr. is the 1st son and 2nd child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley. Born January 14,1937. Peter Jr. more commonly called “PJ” by family and friends. PJ's 1st marriage was to Blondie Chatman and through this union Darlene Sibley was born. PJ's oldest child, Darlene Sibley-Benson and her husband Jimmy live in the Maryland area and have 3 children. RaShaun Sibley is the oldest child of Darlene. RaShaun Sibley currently lives in the Maryland area with his 5 kids. Oldest daughters twins Brianna Sibley, Adrianna Sibley, 3rd child son RaShaun Sibley, Jr. 4th child, Aiyanna Sibley, and 5th youngest child Savaun Sibley. Darlene’s 2nd child Robin Benson and Darlene’s 3rd child Rashaunda Benson currently live in the Maryland area as well. PJ married Ruby L. Morris on March 5th,1962. Ruby's son, Winfred Morris, is their 2nd oldest child, known in his younger years by family and friends as “Windy”. Winfred and his wife, Faith currently live in Delaware and have 4 children. Winfred’s oldest child is Donovan Morris. Marcus Morris is Winfred’s 2nd oldest son. Bryant Morris is the 3rd son of Winfred. Nancy Morris is the daugther and the yougest. Bryant and Nancy are currently living in Delaware. Winfred’s oldest son, David Bradley is currently living in Jacksonville, FL. PJ’s 3rd child is Rosalind. Rosalind Sibley-Armstrong and her husband Neil currently live in Delaware and have 2 children. Rosalind’s oldest child is Lekesha Stokes McPhail. Lekesha and husband Doug have 2 children. Their son, Jakobe and daughter Giselle. They are currently living in Wilmington, DE. Rosalind’s 2nd child is Shelvin Armstrong. Shelvin and his child Jai’yana Small are currently living in Savannah, GA. PJ’s 4th child is Davron Sibley. Davron has 2 children: Alexis Waye and Joshapher Sibley. Davron and his children are currently residing in Kingsland, GA with his wife, Antoinette. PJ’s youngest son is Kirby Sibley. Kirby and his wife Sharon have 2 children: Keonna Sibley and Ziion Sibley. Kirby and his family are currently living in Kingsland, GA.

Wallace's Trail...
Wallace Jerome Sibley, Sr. the 3rd oldest child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley was born on June 30th, 1938. Wallace’s brother PJ describes him as one that was destined for success as a young boy because of his enthusiasm for learning. Prior to marriage, Wallace had his 1st child, oldest son, Vincent “Vince” Jerome Sibley. Vince has two sons from his first marriage, Vincent, Jr. and Nikita Sibley. He and his wife, Valeria reside in Jacksonville, FL. On August 23, 1964, Wallace married Dorothy Mae Herring. Wallace and Dorothy live in Jacksonville, FL. Together they have 4 children. Wallace’s 2nd son, Wallace Sibley, Jr. nicknamed “Sib” currently lives single in Atlanta, GA. Kevin is Wallace’s 3rd son. Kevin Sibley and his wife Grace live in Jersey City, NJ and have 2 children, Kevin, Jr. “KJ” and Victoria “Tori” Sibley. Wallace’s 4th child is Anita, his only daughter. Anita Sibley lives in Jacksonville, FL with her 2 daughters To’Neyshia Sibley and Jaliyah Herring. Wilbert's Horizon...
Wilbert is the 4th child of Peter and Ernestine. Born in St. Marys during 1940. Wilbert grew up active in sports such as football and other activities. Wilbert married Emma Mae Monroe November 11, 1961 and have 5 children. Otis was the oldest child and only son. Otis Sibley, now deceased is remembered for having a passion for music as a child as well as being a prominent caregiver to Ernestine, his grandmother during the final stages of her life. Miriam is Wilbert’s 2nd child and oldest daughter (now deceased). Miriam Sibley and her daughter Keandra Sibley, along with her grandson, Omarie Sibley lived in Miramar, FL until Miriam's untimely death. Tammy is the 3rd child of Wilbert. Tammy Sibley-Gammage lives in Jacksonville, FL with her 3 children, daughter, Ciera Joseph also known as “CeCe”. Ciera has 2 daughters Cierenity Joseph and her 2nd daughter, Cierayah Joseph. Tammy’s 2nd child is Samuel Gammage, Jr. who also lives in Jacksonville, FL. Tammy’s youngest child, Earland Gammage lives in Jacksonville, FL. Wilbert’s 4th child is Sonja, known to most family members by her middle name “Denise” currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Sonja Sibley-Johnson has 2 children: Troy Johnson, II. Troy and his wife Darla have 1 child named Troy Johnson, III. They are currently living in Virginia Beach, VA. Sonja’s 2nd child, Satoya Johnson currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL with her daughter A’nari Hunt. Wilbert’s youngest child is Gaye-Ann. Gaye-Ann Sibley-Molden currently lives in Alabama with her husband Frederick and has 3 daughters: Chanel Person, Briana “Rashaun” Person, and Taylor Molden.

Princie's Sunlight...
Princie is the 5th child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley. Princie Mae was born in St. Marys, GA but was the oldest of 4 children to move with her parents to Atlantic City, NJ in 1959. Princie's 1st marriage to Robert Hargrove, Sr. produced two children; Princie’s oldest child is Robert Hargrove, II. Robert and his wife Sheila currently live in Atlantic City, NJ and have 3 children. Robert's oldest son is Anthony Hargrove who lives in Atlantic City, NJ. Robert’s 2nd child is daughter, Ivory. Ivory Hargrove's oldest daughter is Nia Dior Hargrove. Through the marriage union of Ivory's Hargrove Darnell Samuel, Ivory's 2nd daughter, Nyomi Paris Samuel was born. Ivory's youngest child is son, King Middleton. All are living in the Atlantic City area. Robert’s 3rd child is Robert Hargrove, III. Robert III, (but known as "Jr." amongst the family) and his wife Tyesha currently live in Atlantic City, NJ and have 2 daughters, Nyla Sarai Hargrove and Taina Hargrove. Robert Jr. and Tyesha 3rd child is son, Robert Hargrove, III (IV). Princie’s 2nd child is Jeffrie Hargrove. Jeffrie and his wife Marcia currently live in Atlanta, GA and have a blended family of 4 kids. Terry "TJ" Hall, is Jeffrie’s oldest child. Jeffrie’s 2nd child is son, Jaylin Hall. , Jeffrie’s 3rd child is daughter, Michala Hargrove. And Jeffrie’s youngest child is Jeffrie Hargrove II. All are currently residing in the greater Atlanta, GA area. Princie Sibley-Slade married Irving Slade in 1966 and through this union had 2 children. Princie’s 3rd child is son, originally named Irving Slade, Jr . As a boy, family and friends called Irving, Jr. by his nickname, "Kato". Kato religiously converted his name to Adul-Hakim Adullah. The family respectfully calls him “Hakim.” Hakim currently lives in Atlantic City, NJ and has 3 sons. Adul-Hakim Adullah, Jr. is the oldest child. Hakim’s 2nd child is Nazeer Adullah. Hakim’s 3rd child is Azis Adullah. All are currently residing in Atlantic City, NJ. Princie’s 4th child is daughter, Irika. Irika Slade-King currently lives in Atlantic City, NJ.

Betty's Pathway...
Betty Sibley Pugh the 6th child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley. Born September 17, 1944 in St. Marys, GA Betty’s recognized her infectious laughter and was one of the family’s 1st photographers, taking many family pictures during the 80’s and 90’s. Betty has one child, Shirl Sibley currently living in the Washington, DC area with her daughter Jazmin Sibley. Betty’s Husband, Ruben Pugh (now deceased) were married in 1970. Ruben passed away in November 1999. Betty has lived in Maryland, and New Jersey before returning to current roots in St. Marys, GA.

ANSWER: “Baked Turkey Wings!”
Ernie's Vineyard...
Ernie is the 7th child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley. The youngest daughter was nicknamed “Tiney” by her siblings. Ernie moved with her parents to Atlantic City, NJ at a young age. As an adult, she relocated to Washington, DC. Ernie married Anzol Sims in 1985. Ernie and Anzol were happily married for 10 years before he passed away in 1995. Ernie has a son, Christopher Sibley who lives in Washington, DC. Christopher L. Sibley, Sr. has 8 children. Christopher’s oldest children are twin daughters Andrea Summerford and Amber Summerford currently living in Harrisburg, PA. Andrea Summerford has a daughter and Amber Summerford has a son.. They are all currently living in Harrsburg, PA. Christopher’s 3rd child is Angel Summerford. Angel currently has a daughter and is currently awaiting the birth of her 2nd child in Harrisburg, PA. Christopher’s 4th child is daughter, Matajah Murrel. Matajah currently lives in Jacksonville, NC with her son Ayden Michael Murrel. Christopher’s 5th child is son, Christopher Lamont Sibley, Jr. who lives in the Washington, DC area. Christopher’s 6th child is daughter, Kristian Sibley. Kristian and her brother, Tayshaun Sibley, Christopher’s 7th child reside in Fayetterville, NC. Christopher’s 8th and youngest child is son, Christopher Jayon Sibley, lives with him in Washington, DC area. Christopher has recently married. He and his wife are living in the Greater Washington, DC area.

Alexander's Journey...
Alexander Van Sibley was born October 4th, 1950 in St. Marys, GA. Van, the youngest child of Peter and Ernestine Sibley moved to Atlantic City, NJ when he was entering the 4th grade. Alexander lived in Atlantic City until he enrolled in the military as a Marine in 1969. While in the Marines, Van served in Cuba, Japan, and Hawaii, as a Logistics Supplier as well as a Drill Instructor during his 22 1/2 years. After retiring from the Military in 1991, Van remained in Okinawa, Japan where he married his wife, Yukari for over 15 years. Van has 3 children; Vera Martin is Van’s oldest child and daughter. Vera and her daughter Ayesha Bryant are currently living in Richmond VA. Van’s 2nd child is Alexander Van Sibley, Jr. from his 1st marriage. Alexander and his son are currently living in St. Louis, MO. Alexander's youngest child is son, Michael "Mikey"Alexander Van Sibley Kamaunu, presently living in Maili, Hawaii with his 5 children; Micah Kamaunu-Kuhia is his oldest son. Micah has two lovely daughters: Miriana and Miracle. Pomai Bergstrom, is Mikey's 2nd child and daughter. Pomai and her daughter, Shylah and son, Ikaika are doing well in Hawaii. Mikey's 3rd Child is his son, Malik Kamaunu-Kuhia. Malik and his son, Jahmiah Kekoa O'Kalani Kamaunu-Kuhia are well in Hawaii. Mikey's 4th child is daughter, Juliana Kamaunu-Brown who lives in Hawaii. Mikey's youngest child is son, Keahi Sloan Kamaunu.

ANSWER: “Dad rescued me from drowning at the age of 10 years old when I was trying to swim at the Back Bay in Atlantic City, NJ.
